SBERBANK OF RUSSIA JSC was determined by NBU as a system Ukrainian bank
December 31, 2014, Kyiv – By Resolution of the Board of National Bank of Ukraine №863 as of 25.12.2014 ”On Approval of Regulations about the procedure for systemically important banks determination” SBERBANK OF RUSSIA was defined as one of the eight systemically important banks in Ukraine.
The main criteria of systemic importance, according to NBU methods, are the total assets amount, obligations of business and individuals, system interconnections in the banking system (the amount of interbank lending) and amount of the most important economy sectors lending.
The purpose of the introduction of Resolution №863 is to set up methods for systemically important banks determination which activities affect the stability of the banking system of Ukraine.
This Regulation comes into force on January 1st, 2015.
SBERBANK OF RUSSIA JSC is included into a group of the largest banks in Ukraine by the assets amount. Total assets of the bank as of October the 1st 2014 are amounted to USD 43.4 billion, capital is USD 3.8 billion. SBERBANK OF RUSSIA regional network numbers more than 180 offices.
